Nothing is happening in my life. The remaining snow is all icy and gross and I hate it; I am still at the community centre (today I fought with a huge ass printer and nearly burned my hand off: true story); I have discovered that I like my notebooks to have heft but also front covers that don't easily come off. No, but really.

I watched Fringe, Leverage and NCIS. The first I loved; JJAbrahms loves to headfuck, and whilst I wish the light puzzle had been an actual puzzle (i.e. something that you could solve with enough intellect as opposed to literal brain power) I still kind of loved that. Also: The Observer totally freaked me out. Again.

Leverage was half awesome (Lauren Holly! Parker!), half fucking insulting (it was the skin colouring that really bothered me and the idea that the Indians in charge of the company didn't know their shit; fuck you). So. Yeah.

NCIS. Man. I should have liked this episode way more than I actually did because it featured: MIKE FRANKS FUCK YES; Ziva kicking ass!; Ziva speaking Spanish! &c. And yet: not so much. The reason was basically because a/ do we really need more stories shoehorned into Gibbs' past? I love him, but this plot completely threw me. I had no idea what was going on. I think I'd react better to it on a second viewing though because I was really preoccupied with the idea that b/ that guy was his son. As soon as it became An Issue in the episode itself I figured it would turn out he wasn't a son, but before that the entire idea really upset me for whatever reason. I DID like the twist at the very end of the episode and I wonder if the guy he killed was actually the guy who killed Shannon & Kelly (was that the implication? I wouldn't know because the plot was just that fucked up). I'm not saying that I didn't like it, just that I think that with all that potential, it could have been structured better.

On the plus side: Ziva at the gun range? FUCK YES.

Oh man, so, I'm watching CSI on five, yes? And it is kind of breaking my heart! It reminds me very much of the mood last season pre-strike (with all that melancholy) and I don't know. The show itself isn't as formulaic as, say, CSI:NY, but the cases don't really interest me any more. And yet all the character bullshit has me clinging on. Oh show. WHAT TO DO.

There were a bunch of stuff I wasn't all that happy about in NCIS this week, but all of it was overshadowed by ZIVA'S AWESOMENESS. I will probably have more to say after a second viewing, but right now I'm still all ♥__♥ ZIVA!

Like you said, there was a bunch of plot stuff that didn't work for me in the NCIS episode. But oh, Ziva. How I love her. That made up for a lot of the plotty stuff on a very superficial level. Because she is just that awesome.

Although I did notice (and I'm sure everyone knows this and I'm the very last person to pick it up) that if you pause the credits in the right place it says in the bottom left-hand corner 'observers are here' but you can't see it if you just play the credits.

When the first guy starts freaking out you cut to reaction shots of passers-by; The Observer is the first one. (Haha, before we found out who he was in ep4 I was all WHO IS THAT GUY? I HAVE SEEN HIM TWICE & HE IS SCARY without realising that it was intentional. lols.)

Ah, yeah. I noticed that when slowing down the credits so that i could see all the symbols, lols.
