How FLAIL INDUCING was this week's Life?! And despite my comments about last week's episode, I loved that one, too. OH SHOW.

EVERYONE SUPPORTING CREWS. From Constance's return and phone call about the warrant ("A week before X died, the DA took my lawyer" !!!) to Ted cleaning out the conspiracy room, to Dani keeping Crews on case and believing in him.

"No, go on Crews, please tell me the Chinese symbol for war."

Also: DANI'S FATHER (and Karen's [muted] interaction with him - remember, they were partners). And everyone in dress blues (seriously, Karen and Dani... I mean, Dani looks TINY under that cover, but still. Damn). AND Karen, Dani and Crews staring at the bottles and the caps, with Davis working out the connection. !!!

This episode was about Crews as a man of two lives - the cop, and the conspiracy chaser. A man split in two. Except this time around, he's got support where he didn't have it before: Ted, Dani and Constance. Man, that scene when he comes down in the morning and Constance is there (with her fugly hair, I mean, come on), was amazing. And then Ted coming through and asking what she meant about Crews watching his back.

Ted is almost hurt (I say almost because there's a level on which I think Ted understands Charlie's need for secrecy) re: the conspiracy room; he has to remind Charlie that he was in prison, too, and that he, Ted, is Charlie's friend in all this. Charlie isn't used to having that support, but he has it now. I think this actually links back quite well to episode 2 or 3 when Reese demands the knife off Charlie - she wanted Charlie to put the prison behind him, but Ted is a reminder that that's impossible. "You had to have a secret."

I LOVE the scene in the car where Crews is all, do you want to know my involvement in— and Dani doesn't even miss a beat in refuting that. The trust is so strong both ways now, that the note about Dani's father is sort of painful. I can't wait to see how this murder plot plays out. If they can keep up these emotional connections, it'll be amazing.

By the way, did anyone else find the Zen tape REALLY CREEPY? Because: yeah.

UGH. I should go to town and buy food now. UGH UGH.
