I, um. I honestly don't know if anyone cares about this as much as I do. (GUYS. His VOICE. I mean. COME ON. And he's not as old as the guys I'm usually pushing onto my flist!) I was VERY EXCITED whilst rewatching Life at the weekend because I realised that Sibling of Ron Livingston guest starred which is, you know, not Ron Livingston BUT PRETTY DAMN CLOSE. (For the Standoff fans out there, Sibling of Ron Livingston is the guy in the finale who asks Emily out and then talks about himself All The Damn Time.) BUT STILL. RON LIVINGSTON.

New Life!

Also, I spent last night talking to family, twincy, fallapartagain and sepiaxtoned (separately) the latter of whom I squeed over NCIS with. And, uh. Well. I may or may not be writing NCIS fic as opposed to all those Numb3rs fics that I have due.

So, sepiaxtoned had obviously been watching old school NCIS and was all, I MISS KATE, and I was all, GOD, ME TOO SOMETIMES. And then I was watching NCIS and she watched it afterwards and I was thinking about all those people who don't understand the complex interchange that happened when Ziva joined the team in Kate's wake. SO. We were talking about WHAT IF KATE DIDN'T DIE (for whatever reason) and the team was HUNTING Ari AGAIN and he was HUNTING THEM TOO (AGAIN) and Ziva was brought in AGAIN because she was Ari's handler AND ALL THIS FRICTION that would arise between Ziva and Kate because Ari tried to KILL KATE and Ziva doesn't believe it but also because BOTH WOMEN are sort of intrinsically LINKED to him in a way (see: Ari is attracted/repulsed by Kate and Ziva) and GIBBS SORT OF WANTS TO TRUST ZIVA but she doesn't give him a reason, especially with Ari doing things like SHOOTING AT ABBY IN THE LAB (some things have to remain the same, naturally) but Gibbs SEES something in her, and KATE is RESISTING this impingement on her territory. Because at first it would be like that until Ari was once again dead for whatever reason and Kate realises that Ziva and Ari were siblings. And maybe KATE could be ZIVA'S SECRET-HOLDER as opposed (or as well as) GIBBS. ? Yes? Maybe. I don't know. I like the idea, though.

Needless to say, I didn't sleep until afer 2am. DOES IT SHOW?

Am also having nostalgia pangs for my pseudo-religious upbringing. I ended up telling twincy some Hindu religious... I guess mythos is the word. And then I was all "WHY DON'T I REMEMBER THIS?" Because, guys, I can recite the Bible. But I don't remember the stories of my YOUTH and KIN. And now I feel sad. Sadface.

I have SO MUCH poetry to read. The BORING kind. GOD. HATE. And to make matters worse, my books haven't arrived yet. SIGH/WOE/&c.
