I'm really enjoying listening to these UPenn - Off The Beat tracks. Some are much better than others but they're still lovely to listen to. I got a few from powerof3 but Denz sent me a bunch when she came back from India, of all places. No, the disc wasn't from there but she'd ordered one and it arrived whilst she was in Gujurat.

Oh, also! I totally wrote the hell out of my icaw ficathon assignment yesterday. It was weird; I suddenly realised what I'd been doing wrong. Here's hope I haven't jinxed it. !!! But yes, writing was done and I'm so over the minimum. It's not the best I've ever written, and not only am I still writing it but I'm going back and padding, but I'm relieved. That's what this morning has been allocated to: sorting it out so that by this evening I will be in a position to close it up. Hoo-rah!

Someone has posted a wallpaper which reads PREDATOR ROTDERP; the words are written vertically. I spent a long time trying to work out what ROTADERP was, only to realise that it was PREDATOR inversed. *headdesk* Why?

In other news, heh. I totally finished the ficathon fic today. I mean, I don't even know where it came from. I wish I could add a note to it that says "when I wrote this, it existed as the first section for a month and a half and was going to be a set of drabbles. Then I had a picture of Elizabeth twisting her ankle and the whole thing materialised before me." Because seriously? This is what happened. I don't want to question the logic behind this. Anyway, now is the time to open this shit up in a text file and prep the html.

I still haven't seen either of Friday's Stargates. Maybe that's what I'll do tonight. But... I also have Carnivàle! Hmm. Ah forget it. I'll save Carnivàle for Soton and watch the Stargates tomorrow. See? Fandom is about compromise.
