{ I know how you feel }
Jan. 25th, 2006 01:24 pmSo, I've started to look at the poll results from last week and it's confirming some of my suspicions, even though the sample really is too small to be of that much significance. That being said, I guess I should at some point outline what my theory was and explain the results in relation to that.
Not today, though.
What I will say is that so far, having looked at the results of the "heightened response" half of the poll there are some clear trends. Non-writers/poets seem to have less sensitivity to most of the senses except for taste. The sense that was heightened in nearly everyone who took the poll was sound: am I surprised? I can't say that I am. This result may be negligible though because it's probably just that my flist likes music. That being said, in terms of percentages, the people who were both poets and writers were more sensitive to sounds, overall, than people who were just writers (and also, more so than non-writers).
Can you see where I'm going with this? There'll be more results later in the week, with graphs, too! *geekgasm*
