I have had a pretty bad week, actually, though this is mostly because I had an amazing three-day weekend followed by Tuesday off. There's also been a mix of other trouble, ranging from my rents can be heinous creatures to my teenage peer group is reaching out to me again. Hmm. Put like that it sounds exactly as stupid as it is, but oh well.

But then I went into work today and I had my appraisal and I'm a bit of an administerial rock star, fuck yes. Whatever. It went much better than I thought it would, and the ladies in H are a nice bunch to be around. In the afternoon I learned how to scan shit into the electronic database and that was exactly as easy as it sounds. I don't really understand my state of employ.

Tomorrow is The Sister's prom. I'm babysitting Baby Cousin until about 9pm and then The Mother and I are going to watch a film until she has to go and pick said sibling up. This is a surprising turn of events considering how furious I was with The Mother last night, but that's often how things are in this family.

I own so much poetry, guys! THIS IS WONDERFUL. I will share some later because it is so fitting for the time I have been having. And also, there is a lot of water, which is never a terrible thing.

£290 return trip to NYC this November. Um. THAT IS SO DOABLE. I am sorely fucking tempted, but I'm still trying to get to Jerusalem if I can. The flights to Israel are hiding, those fuckers.
