I still think you beat on yourself way too much for someone so delightful and talented and kindly; I still think you are a genuinely remarkable person despite/because of that. And now you are ~*published*~ and you should milk that for its worth, girl.

This post made me laugh and blush and scuff my feet. I'm still not convinced I'm as delightful as you think I am, but thank you so much! I think I shall bookmark this and return to it in times of angst. ♥

Also: I managed to avoid your trap with the stars in the envelope, as years of similar shenanigans mean that I always hold envelopes upright when I open them. This is perhaps for the best, since I did most of my present-opening in bed. I promise I'll get the envelope and scatter stars all over the carpet, later. ;)
