OH ZIVA.

So... okay, so either the deal NCIS is tailing is being orchestrated by Mossad, or Rivkin is A Bad Apple. Either way, I am now seriously excited for the remaining episodes of this season. Will we finally learn new things about our girl? I'M NOT SURE I'M READY FOR THIS, TO BE HONEST. I mean. I have wanted it for some time but I don't want to wreck our girl. YOU KNOW? (Excitingly: one of the remaining episodes features a run-in with the FBI. TOBIAS FORNELL, BABY. Oh yeah. I mean. It had better feature some Fornell.)

In other news: lols, I love you, Louise Lombard, and for you and the snappy girl alone I will watch this spin-off, should it make it into production. Nineteen years ago is what, 1991? Isn't that the year Shannon and Kelly Gibbs died? What the fuck is up with Jethro's backstory, any way? Things remain unclear: when did he go to Russia, when was he in Europe, when did he have time to get married three more times? And now this Macy woman. I love how they've drawn up all of Lombard's features to make her seem older than she actually is. Woman is badass.

In other other news: OHHHHHH ZIVA. !!!!

I've been waiting ALL SEASON for this Ziva storyline. Bring it on!

And I was seriously squeeing when Tony found out Ziva almost died. I was always pissed that we never got to see Tony being all concerned for her safety after she got ess-ploded and then we got that gem. Awesomesauce.

I found that a little weird, to be honest, mostly because... in MTAC? Seriously? Have some subtlety, Tony. Also, I was very surprised to find out that he didn't know about what had happened in Morocco - I mean, from Tim or Abby. Still. It makes sense. That is very Ziva.

I can sort of handwave the fact that no one else told Tony because I figure they're all aware of the relationship between the two of them. They know how freaked out Tony would be if he knew about it.

LOLS. I don't mean in a bad way. I mean - I've been talking about Ziva for a couple of years now and when it comes to these big episodes, I like to pick them apart. Unless the episode is massively underwhelming, I will very much be pulling the scenes apart one at a time.

I am excited too but mostly because of Ziva and not the supposed Tony/Ziva people keep mentioning. I'm not worried about that happening anyway.

My theory is that after Shannan and Kelly died, Gibbs did an Adam Carter and was a man whore for a while.

Whether the Tony/Ziva happens or not does not phase me so much; I won't really be paying attention. But oh, Ziva. I cannot wait.

I just think the show likes to tease people. I guess since I've never seen NCIS as one who'd put two of their main characters together. It's a nice change from most other shows in that all the relationships between the main characters are pretty awesome and I think any two becoming involved would ruin it. I may be wrong so we'll see.

Trying to sort out his time line gives me a headache. I'll just assume he was a whore and move on.

I like Louise Lombard's character so far but her make up annoys me, which seems silly, but there you go.

Well, my understanding of things was that if Sasha Alexender hadn't left, they would have ramped up the Kate/Tony relationship. Which. Ugh, no thanks. I don't know, though, because they're pushing it pretty heavily, and it being a JAG spin-off, I wouldn't put it past them. I'd rather they didn't, though. As you said, it would tumble the dynamics somewhat.

Heh. They have really pulled her features back with her hair, I've noticed. I couldn't see any reason to do that, other than to age her. ...I don't really know how that ages her, but it does.

Also, Louise Lombard rules all. Especially in NCIS. ♥ And LL Cool J amuses me. Can't forget Chris O'Donnell, either. This cast has a few big names. Here's hoping they can pull it off. :)

Well, no, I get that. It's just that there's other stuff, too, in between all that. There's time for it, but the way the show writes him, it all happened in those first 5 years after Shannon & Kelly were killed. Which. Wtf.

Verily I need a Louise Lombard icon. I am not sold on O'Donnell, though, even though I've liked him in the things I've seen him in before. There is something not quite...there about him.

If Rivkin is a Bad Apple Ziva's taste in men really sucks... so far all of "her" men where baddies. But maybe that's where Tony in his white shining armour steps in. xD

I'm reallly excited about tonights episode, because to be honest last week bored the hell outta me. But hopefully Fornell's gonna do it. :D

I don't really know what you're talking about? She's had 2 onscreen dalliances - one died, & the other was a harmless one night stand. She barely has a track record.

I enjoyed last week's. Am looking forward to the second half. & then hopefully some Fornell the episode after!
