So, I'm at work at the moment. I spent the day dealing with what we call non-current and dead files. This is a tres bnoring subject but basically, tomorrow we're sending out a lot of information but before we can do that we have to make sure that we're only sending said info to people who are still alive and/or using our service. I've joined Workplace at a rather busy time which means I've had to learn a lot of things very quickly. The work doesn't require a lot of brains but I do worry about trying for jobs which would require more of me, if only because this job, basic tough it is, sometimes fills me with a great deal of panic. I'm still learning things, but I managed to go through a whole process today without help, so, you know. I think that's okay for my first fortnight. The lady who's been helping me 'transition' (um, what?) won't be at this site from now on so it's time to get things sorted.

In other news, this morning my bus was so fucking late that the bus after it overtook us. As it turns out it didn't really matter because the train was horrendously late, too. If I could get to the station earlier, I would, but those goddamn buses only come five minutes apart and there are none before the one that I take. What the hell is the use of that?

The march from the station continues to be exhausting but it's good for me, and the march back (being devoid of upward slopes) is pretty good. And then I watch shows on my mp4 on the way home. (Today = Saving Grace, huzz).

I'm hoping this works this time. Last time I posted from email I got that weird lineation (which works well, poetically) but I've taken the rich text off this one, and I'm using tags, so, fingers crossed?

I did have more to say but I can't remember. It's weird updating from email/work/whatever. I can't really keep things straight. Or,
rather, things are even less focused than usual.

Finally home; code quasi-fixed. Oh well.

I'm sorry to say the formatting on this is less than ideal. Heh.

Glad things at work are semi-good to good. I think the level of panic will dropd significantly as soon as you feel you know what you're doing. Probably won't go away entirely, but such is the fate of us panicky people, amirite?

Ahh, new jobs are always frightening. Hopefully it'll get better! It most likely will soon, once you learn the ropes and whatnot. I hope you are liking it though, so far!

Aww, what's going on with you, bus?
