Have finally fiddled enough with my superbly plain layout. Customised comments are off for the first time in ages; rotating header is back up; default userpic is down; text alignment is mostly to the right; and yeah, I don't know. I just need to change my userinfo picture and then I will have succeeded in convincing myself that I have done something of use this evening. Insert arms of triumph here.

Yesterday I was disgustingly mopey and instead of doing something useful with my time, I caught up with Friday Night Lights. My gosh, I still adore everything about that damn show.

I also futzed around re: Yuletide (huzzzzzz) but I think that was pretty self-evident.

Today I spent my morning helping out some people. After lunch The Dad took me in to P. where we picked up our tickets for Russell Howard's show, and then renewed my rail card/picked up my train tickets for the Aberdeen trip. Am getting ridic excited about that now.

I was going to marathon Spooks but I'll leave that for tomorrow. Tomorrow afternoon I have to meet someone about some stuff... it's all very blah.

You'll need to give me dates, if it's before the 15th it's a no-can-do. Darn exams but after that date I am a free agent, except for the 20th as I am going to see Amy MacDonald in concert -happy arms- I'd be able to point you to some good eats etc though if you're interested!

Ahh I may possibly sneak up on the 12th then dependant on study! But tips:

food, I would utterly recommend siberia for food, it's cheap and wholesome. Plus the surroundings are relaxed, don't be put off because it's a vodka bar.

If you're looking for coffee, running off of belmont street is little belmont steet, you'll see a hairdressers set on the right. Above the hairdressers is a phenomenal crepe place which serves amazing coffee and crepes of every possible kind, super tasty and amazing. IT was originally set up by art students so it's cool for chilling.

On Belmont Street I'd recommend taking a trip to Beautiful Mountain, they've got every kind of sandwhich made to order, you can ask for anything. Plus they've usually got orgasmic soups which you can get to go.

So basically culture wise, the Belmont Street area of Aberdeen is a must do, also if you're wanting history I'd check out the north end of Union Street (main street!) it's got alot of beautiful buildings around there. If you want nature, take a trip to the beach. There is a good two mile of promenade, complete with carnival rides etc. Just don't go down there at night.

The Kings College Campus is worth taking a look at too, if that takes your fancy.

Actually, I may get into Ab. waaaay earlier than The Flatmate. I'll know more in December but maybe we can hang for an hour or so? Maybe? No worries if you're busy or elsewise.
