I was using the pinhole method? Stick a pin in a piece of paper and try to catch the sun? Couldn't find the sun. Well, it's in the sky and everything but I couldn't actaully find it in the way that I couldn't get the pinhole to align with it. So I was watching it on the TV...and after ten minutes got bored. I bet it'd be more exciting if the pinhole thing worked.

Last night's Murphy's Law was eerie for many, many reasons, the first one being that it was about nuns. Nuns scare me. I mean, they don't scare me but the whole devout Catholicism thing does. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for religion - I write about devout Catholics all the time - but the churches scare me. The rituals scare me. The Latin freaks me the hell out and here's where it gets weird because I actually want to learn Latin.

But no, the most scary thing about yesterday's episode was the ending. I really liked the charcter of Sarah (the Black nun from Uganda); she was brilliantly portrayed. But it was all a little horror-house. When she jumped off the scaffolding, I was like, no! And then she survived, so, yay. And then, right at the very end, we see a shot that is as scary as the pre-credit shot (wherein she was attacked and you don't know what it is that hit her): her rapist returns to kill her. Murphy's at the Private school and he figures it out way too late.

Omigod!

How the hell could they end it like that? it was terrifying upsetting. Well done People-Of-Murphy's-Law. Well done.

Hee. CSI and Little and Large on tonight. CSI involves some sort of race... Like, the what? More on that tomorrow!
