Linkety link-link:

01 red band trailer for Elegy, the film based on Philip Roth's The Dying Animal (with thanks to [livejournal.com profile] the_grynne)
02 I just like seeing pictures of Diane Farr being kick-ass; she talks about her twins
03 speaking of babies, Angie Harmon is pregnant again; another kick-ass lady (yes, I'm still subscribed to CBB's rss feed, ugh shaddup)
04 We Are Scientists cover Nickelback & are lolsome (thanks, [livejournal.com profile] twincy, esp. because I didn't have a fourth link!)

Huh, Atlantis. I don't know! I haven't even watched it properly since mid-S4 but I'm still kind of bummed out? Sadface, everyone, sadface.

I do remember that I offered up lyric-based fics a while a go, and I do remember that I only wrote three of them. The rest are coming, drabble-sized (self = well of fail); I want to get them done before I leave for the weekend. Am also still slowly working through my disastrous Numb3rs caps. Expect loads of tiny images to distil the pixelation.

Just got a call from one of my cousins - we're putting together a 'wedding box' for bride-to-be cousin. So will probably buy one of those scary Japanese-style secret dolls. Will take a snap if I remember/if I buy it.

Re: Atlantis. I know! It's strange, but I felt a little heart-squeezing sadness at the news too. It would make more sense if I'd actually watched the show in two years... I suppose it's nostalgia and the final letting go that's making me feel this way. Plus it's always sad to see shows end; it's the end of an entire imaginative world, if you know what I mean.

I think that's exactly it. And like you said, it's always a shame, especially when you loved something once.

Aw. Atlantis! I feel like we're breaking up. But you know, it's for the best. We both want different things, and our lives are going in different directions... lols.

Yeah. I was so invested in it once, so it's hard to think that it is no more.

It's just that we've grown apart. It's not me, it's you-- No, hang on...
