I just found out that this guy and this guy are actually THE SAME PERSON.

I am GOBSMACKED. Not because there's no similarity between the two, but because Ed Byrne's comic style has changed massively since he's cut his hair. What happened there?! He used to be crass and energetic! Now he's vaguely sophisticated! His laughter is almost shy, wtf. (I always wondered where the long-haired guy went. Answer: NO WHERE.)

Sigh, self. SIGH.

lols, I know. But this isn't just a case of my being a complete moron - the guy's entire demeanour has changed. When he had longer hair, he was younger, and his comic style was superbly crass. Now he's older, he looks more sophisticated, and he's normally stood next to Hugh Dennis (tall, thin chappie) which makes him look quite small. The difference between the two in look, height and manner is kind of staggering!

Ed Byrne is this Irish comedian whom I adored when I was younger (but didn't know his name) and now find adorable when he guest stars on a comedy quiz show called Mock the Week. I'm a little astounded that the two people are one and the same, but the change is neither here nor there.
