After all the fannish woe that's been circling the screens this week, Grey's Anatomy was a perfect antidote. Silly and sentimental - I can get behind that in a big way. I LOVED Yang getting her mojo back. Seeing her lose it was horrible, and seeing her perform - out-perform - was a big boost. Seeing Bailey hand over the keys to the clinic was great, and Izzie stopped being annoying the moment she grew a pair. I loved George making a stand, and the Chief going home. I loved Mark stepping up. But mostly I loved Mere being a sap, and I especially loved that Derek did the right thing and went to speak to Rose before deciding to move forward. I was surprised that the thing Mere was supposed to work out was that her mother wanted her to be... extraordinary in love? I thought it would turn out that her mother wanted Mere to save her. But apparently the suicide was a dramatic act to get the (future-) Chief to come back to her. Make dramatic gestures, I guess was the point. WHATEVER. I enjoyed the sap fest. And I'm actually very much behind Mere and Der getting together, so long as they're not being annoying. I watch a lot of shows where I go for the unconventional ship, or I'm not into the leads. And. Well. M&D are annoying, but they make sense together, and it's kind of stupid that I have to defend that as a decision to anyone considering that this is TV and therefore not real. I'm a moron.
Relatedly: the CSI: NY finale was lolarious. I love that ridiculous little show a disproportionate amount. I finally got caught up with Mad Men. New season this summer, not to mention new Weeds, huzzah! It's the little things.

I am doing other things, though that doesn't seem to be apparent, heh. One of those things includes correspondence, and the other involves haiku. I feel like the latter isn't actually that good, but hey, it's only until Monday which is when I'll start my exam prep proper. This time next week I'll be drawing into the last half hour of the exam, which is a pretty scary thought. Thankfully I'll be in the Sports Hall, not in the Refectory, a building which I faintly detest.
Haha, this weekend is a Bank Holiday! Smashing.

Tonight! Tonight is fantastic. Tonight we are going to the local theatre to see a production of A Streetcar Named Desire and then we are likely going to hang out at the bar with T's friend (who I think may be moving into my room when I leave? Cripes!) Should be excellent. I am expecting greatness.
