I have that 3k essay to write today (lols, I'm such a moron sometimes - I could have done the research for this as soon as I took the books out of the library but I'm apparently glutton for punishment) but I woke up to a gloriously sunny morning so I'm taking time to bask in it a bit.

I'm also wearing a skirt today, a little longer than the one I wore earlier this week, and I decided to brave a spaghetti-string tank top because I'm not really going anywhere, and I think the girls can take it. (Yeah, my back is pretty atrocious in terms of scarring.) The sun is doing some good though because I'm still feeling fairly upbeat and I'm tanning, so I look less like I'm from the Mediterranean, and more like the Brit. Asian that I actually am. It's not something that I care about all that often but what with the weddings this summer - the anaemia is really visible in photos is all.

Did I mention that we made crispy cakes last night? Yummy!

OK, got to get some juice, crack open a window and then get some work done. Use of nature in Medieval and Renaissance poetry ...right.

lols - rice crispie cakes? You know, melt chocolate, mix in rice crispies, spoon into cupcake cases and refridgerate. And you can add fruit and things too, and add yoghurt &c. Yummy!

I use any dry cereal we have, but we still call them crispies, lol. At Easter we make them using shreddies, and put mini eggs on top - nests!
