My day: woke late, went to library, read, read, read, ate lunch, read, battled the photocopier, walked to sub-campus, read, read, read, attended EXCELLENT seminar, walked back home. Now I need to READ, OBVIOUSLY, buy house essentials from the One Stop and MAKE PANCAKES YAY.

Photocopier wouldn't do what I wanted it to and kept cutting off Important Text. So I was all FUCK IT and slapped it on A3 instead. I will Make Certain that these sheets end up in the recycling should I ever throw them away because otherwise that's a monstrous waste. BUT STILL. PHOTOCOPIERS.

No, really, the seminar was hilarious. First the tutor gives out these maps of the USA and tells us to label EVERYTHING. States, cities, oceans, lakes, neighbouring countries. I found this all Very Ironic, as you can imagine. (I kicked ass at this game regardless of my inability to remember that Oregon is a place that actually exists; I WON). Then we talked about yesterday's screening, and all the reading I did this morning, and it was all very productive and ACE. I was rather SMASHING if I do say so myself, and I do, I really do.

No classes tomorrow! \o/ I will, of course, be READING.

HILARIOUS. I ordered Nabokov's Pnin second-hand off Amazon (which...I really think that Amazon was originally Amazin but someone typo'd that shit up) and the guy emailed me all "OHNOES! Am away! Can you wait???" and I was all, "HMMM. OKAY." Except it just arrived (snazzy note and all) in what is basically HALF a USED padded envelope. HALF LOLS. The old address is labelled-over, the stamps are crossed out with a black marker and one half is tapped up with brown masking tape. MAGNIFICENT. And the guy who I bought it off is really nice, too, bless him. Anyway. I am finding this all rather LOLS.
