The Dell support website is so difficult to navigate; it's doing my head in. My laptop for some reason cannot find my disk drive, nor will it play DVDs. Silly, I know, but this is getting me quite frustrated, and more than a little upset. I don't know what's wrong with it, and I can't really afford to get it fixed if there's something wrong with the hardware. I've emailed Dell Support directly to ask if they can help. Fingers are most definitely crossed.

(I'm not above hoping that the thing spontaneously decides to work again, either.)

Package arrived from Amazon this morning. I thought it would be my package because I got the confirmation email for that one first, but it's xanitia's package. This is good, though, because I thought it wasn't going to get here in time and instead it is now wrapped and ready to deliver.

Made my way into town today to swap that book for another one, so this evening will be spent wrapping and writing notes, although I've left my good stationary in Soton. I was planning on watching something whilst I did that, but hey, DVD drive apparently does not exist!

I'll be in B. tomorrow. Am still nervous about a hundred odd things. The more things change...
