I actually made it to the library today and worked my way through Plath's Ariel, pulling out lines that I thought would be useful for the myth of Hades and Persephone. It's actually an excellent text for it. I'm going to spend the evening catching up on fandom and typing up the quotes I pulled. I already have a rough outline so if I get that done tonight, I can finalise it over the weekend.

No, I still don't know what I'm going to do for the assignment that I actually have to hand in. Aie.

This weekend I really, really, really need to buy food otherwise there will be none in the house. I also need to buy some spices so that I can make Indian pancakes tomorrow. Yum!

I spent a lot of yesterday watching Friday Night Lights. I love all the scenes with Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton. They have such fantastic chemistry, and I love the way their characters interact.

The show also has some of the best direction I have seen in a while. Gorgeous 'reality-driven' shooting. Just wonderful.

Argh. I just watched the trailer for P.S. I Love You. I don't know why I do that to myself? Pre-trailer, it looked like one of those films that I'd watch when it made it to TV, and maybe not even then because whilst it looks both fun and distantly tragic, it also looks like something I probably don't have patience for. AND THEN I SAW JDM. UGH. GODDAMN. So.

And now I have Michelle Branch on repeat.

A film I am SUPER excited about is Ensemble C'est Tout (the English title is Hunting and Gathering; with thanks to tigertrapped for the link to the trailer) which looks fantastic. And who doesn't love Audrey Tautou? So, yes, more than a little excited.
