I've heard a lot of fuss and bother about this recently and I'm confused because (a) I didn't realise there was a feature in LJ itself to turn these things off (i.e. viewing options) and (b) I shut the thing off inside itself, and haven't had a problem since?? Maybe it's something to do with my browser add-ons, but let me know if you've tried this method and it hasn't worked for you, and I can take this post down.

Am headed to the library in a bit. Will be finishing my numb3rswom3n fic (I PROMISE leda_speaks that this will get done!) and finishing this week's poetry reading. My shoulders are going to die by the end of the day because my bag is going to be so ridiculously heavy.

Didn't go to sleep until 3am last night because we decided to watch more old school Supernatural at 10pm and then... talked. A lot. And then went downstairs to make tea/hot beverage of choice and talked. A lot. It was great.

You're welcome. The reason I posted this was because someone else psted a link to a solution that seemed really complicated. Let me know if this works across the board for you.

Sadface: I haven't finished the fic. I'm so freaking close, too, but I just spotted a flaw in the narrative so I need to swap the order of a couple of the paragraphs, and add another two. I promise I'll post tomorrow (or, rather, later today) but it's 0350 and I really need to go to sleep. I feel like an ass; I've never missed a deadline before! Forgive me?
