delgaI feel a great amount of WOE at Standoff's cancellation. I sort of get it, but still. Livingston and DeWitt have the best on-screen chemistry I have seen in a long, long time. I thought the show was a lot of fun, managed to break into variety and though it could have done with some more focus on some of the secondary cast, did an excellent job for eighteen episodes. So, yeah, woe.

Took the bus into the city center and ended up buying PJs, socks and a pillow from Primark, as well as a woollen sweater from Asda. Also bought Real Food which I spent a leisurely hour or so cooking and eating because no-one else was in the house. Made friends with the new neighbours when a girl knocked at the door in need of a vacuum cleaner. All in all, a busy evening. And I made enough food to freeze and re-cook later this week. Huzzah!
