HAHAHAHA. FANON > CANON.

Fuck, do I ever want more. I love that scene of the three sister wives laughing together. Firstly because I love the idea of the family coming together as opposed to falling apart; secondly, because it's the flipside of the season 1 finale where they rallied in grief. Barb, too, has gone the whole run, and is now the one to out them to the neighbours which I love beyond words, not to mention Adalene's admission that she walked over the backs of five 'weak souls' to take up the mantle of'first wife', even if she was sixth. In fact, that Adaleen gave Barb the advice that Margene's mother gave to her (i.e. take charge, stand your ground) and not to Nicki says a lot about how much Adaleen respects Barb, and how much less faith she has in Nicki's ability to do what she did. HUZZAH for Nicki who was so torn in this episode; her not letting Roman manipulate her was wonderful. re: Margene, the urge to smack her didn't dissipate. In fact I was sort of furious with her over Ana, and her childish insistence to be placed front and centre; but her joy and her pride in Barb made up for that a little (on a side note: I really do like Ana). I know this is unlikely, but I'd like more solidarity between the wives next season, more of that lovely hand-holding and mutual love and pride. Not all the time because that would be ridiculous, but just more care.

That Lois was behind all of the poisonings is just hilarious, though pretty much expected. I love Wanda and all of her crazy - "I get too excited!" - and her snapping at her prospective sister wife was brilliant. Albie is still a dick; man, Joey just cannot catch a break, can he?

Oh, Sarah. Oh, Sarah.

On the whole, I feel that this season was looser than the first, less directed, and in parts a little unclean, like there were a lot of loose ends. It feels a little incomplete to me, and that a lot of characters got cut short whilst some were given runs that seemed rushed and long. I'm not saying it was bad, in fact I had a lot of fun, and I wish a lot more TV had this consistent a pull. I just want there to be more! I love this show a crazy amount.
