LOL. That's the most random LJ post I've seen at the top of my flist for ages.

What kind of bird is it?

I can't tell one bird from another, but it flew in. We had to chuck it out!

Any particular kind of bird? An ostrich? An emu? They're pretty giant. Or something more domestic?

Ha, so a slight use of hyperbole. I don't know what it was, it managed to get in through one of the top windows.

The last two Bird Incidents were with little things, about the size of a robin. One was in the garage, the other flew into The Sister's room. This one was the size of a crow. Except it wasn't a crow because it was coloured. Shudder.

I had a swallow that flew in through my bedroom window once and my dad and I spent about half an hour chasing it round the house before we managed to trap it under the laundry basket and release it outside. And it crapped everywhere. We were not amused.

The Mother isn't either. I'm more freaked than anything else.

The birds around here are dozy buggers, though. There's one that repeatedly flies into the windows, drops, gets up, flies round and then back into the window. *sigh*

First of all, this made me laugh so hard. Then I read it to Joni (who was staring at me for laughing so hard) and she laughed too.

One time there was a baby chipmunk in our house. It was cute, adorable, and creepy all wrapped into one. It crawled up my dad's leg while he was trying to get it back outside. It was pretty funny :]

ps: please excuse the kindergarten sentences. for some reason I can't write normal paragraphs today.
