VOICE POST OF WORDS AND OTHER SUCH THINGS AS WHAT TOOK MY FANCY, HUZZ! [mirror.] It's very, very quiet, though, as always, so you're probably going to need to turn up the volume. Also, I warn you now, it's like 10 minutes long, and I'm ridiculous. I sort of hate myself, lolz.
DISCLAIMER: I KNOW THAT GLOTTAL STOP IS TWO WORDS.

Date: 2007-08-13 10:10 pm (UTC)I will, in a minute. Have to get random Libertines song out of my head, first. (What is it with that band? I don't even like the music that much.)
Go forth and mingle!

Date: 2007-08-13 10:55 pm (UTC)Well, no. I'm freaking out less about old-ness, and more about sheer speed of time.

Date: 2007-08-13 11:11 pm (UTC)And you love chuffed too! Such a great word to say. My French side takes a back seat sometimes and my Brit side comes out and I *must* say I'm chuffed. Hehehe
You didn't say my username though. /pouts/ You called me Em which amused me since you're called M. LOL! (Together we make candy or a white rap star - take your pick /snicker/)
You'll have to do this again sometime once you've got Dopplegangerin down. I'll ask you to say Everlasting Gobstopper or something fun like that. I can swear in Farsi, but can't spell it, so I'd have to look up how to mangle them with a Roman alphabet for you. /grins/
Now I kind of want to do a voice recording myself. I had once tossed around the idea of doing fic podcasts or some such thing, but it's been ages since my training and I'm sure my cold reading skills and elocution have sadly gone by the wayside.
One final note... Surrealismo!
Ley turned me on to it. Such fun! J'adore Dali! LOL!

Date: 2007-08-14 10:21 am (UTC)Chuffed is brilliant, and a word that I use more when I'm at home than when I'm at uni, mostly because of the phrase "proper chuffed" which is a regional phrase from slightly north of where I live. (Whilst I go to uni on the south coast).
Haha, when I was in primary school - elementary? - M&Ms was my nickname. (I think my post was a little misleading because no-one ever calls me M out loud, they just send/sign things to me that way.)
Hee. Well, I'd have had a better time with doppelgangerin if I knew the pronunciation of the vowel sounds. I know the 'o' and the 'a' aren't the way we use them in English.
You should, hee. It's a lot of fun. Speaking of podfic:
