This picture cracks me up. IS THERE SOME MUCH PIG'S BOTULIN IN YOUR FACE THAT YOU CAN'T EVEN CRACK A SMILE? Jebus, Posh, loosen up those facial muscles. Go wild! (Also, is it me, or does some of this look like a botched photoshop job, like they secretly still hate each other and couldn't even bear to stay in a room long enough for a photoshoot?) Aw, Spice Girls. You know I love you still.

Medium is so... endearing! I love it. And yet: alas. I have run out of episodes and can't really afford the second season right now. I do, however, have two more episodes of Oz (S1) and TWO SEASONS of The Wire so this time next week, I'll likely be pining over one of those.

Actually: Oz S2 isn't even out in the UK yet. It comes out the same day as Deadwood S3 and now my fannish priorities are at war. CONFLICT! WOE!

I need to get some sleep, yo. My insomnia has recently come back with a serious vengeance but because I'm at home, I have to be in bed with the lights out. And there is nothing in the room to occupy my attention - no red LED from my hi-fi, no lamp outside the window, no ticking watches or clocks. My poor room is so dead these days.

To conclude, I realised today that I own three volumes of poetry that I've never really looked at: Christina Rossetti, John Dunne and Dante. Seriously. I think a friend bought them for my birthday a few years back but I've never even opened them. On a related note, I sold my copy of Beowulf via Amazon today, but it has the same colour cover as my copy of Plath's Ariel. (You know where this is going, right?) I nearly sent the wrong one! Can you imagine how awful that would have been? To sell my Plath. I'd have had a crisis.

Yeah. Goodnight.
