Harryette Mullen's S*PeRM**K*T (SpermKit) is amazing, which is a good thing, because now I have something to write my essay on. Today's lecture was great, as per always, s I'm sad that next week's is the last one. The course has been really interesting. I'm annoyed at myself for missing last week's seminar because it seems like it was an interesting class.

Since most of my texts this year have been trying in some form or another, I'm finding that I much prefer having to work at my reading, however much that frustrates me, because I'm getting disinterested by conventional narratives.

I'm about to email the group's dissertation topics to our tutor, and then I'm going to read more Iliad which I am in love with. Later I'm going to watch the new NCIS which I already have, and then maybe a film. Huzzah? (Possibly RENT, just because.)

The weather is... insane. Blue, blue skies, high temperatures.

I wish I could have lectures all week and then a month of exams. No, really.
