There are more now because I took this picture on Saturday. But seriously: these things saved my life this weekend. I was made of despair and didn't want to do anything except fold paper into faux-bird shapes.

I call it my crane farm.

I may have mentioned this (twice, trice, two dozen times), but I find doing things with my hands so calming. Thus, cranes, but also, knitting, and doing the dishes, and other menial tasks.

A flock of cranes! Coincidentally, I am now packing and I keep finding cranes just about everywhere.

That is a lovely picture -- thank you for sharing! I always think origami sounds like a cool hobby, and your paper cranes are beautiful. I particularly like the tiny ones. The mix of colours you have is delightful and the way the paper cranes match the books and the lamp shade is lovely. My only talent in paper folding is being able to turn a napkin into a water lily (and crude paper areoplanes...) How is life otherwise?
