Before I say anything else, The Flatmate tells me that Man U ended up winning their match today, and Chelsea only drew. I'm pleased. I don't really know why because I don't watch football and the only reason I really know anything about it is you. So, I suppose I'm pleased for your team.
If this post (http://denorios.livejournal.com/285145.html) had been about policy, I wouldn't have said/done anything. As it is, I was pretty offended by it. I'm all for you posting whatever you'd like to post in your journal, but, in my liberal way, I don't have to read it, either. I'm not oposed to your poilitcal views, whatever they actually are, because I don't object to people holding views that are in opposition to mine. I'm up for debate. That post was not about debate.
More than that, though, you and I have so little in common these days. You watch football and Supernatural, and a host of fandoms I don't participate in. I don't really know anything about you and, alongside the caps abuse and exclamation overload, there's a lot of me in this journal. I'm skipping the majority of your posts - what's the point? I don't think there's a single thing in fandom that we've agreed on - Spooks, Firefly, SPN, Doctor Who. So even when I want to start up a dialogue with you, I don't know where to start.
I hope I don't sound malicious because you're a lovely person in so much as what I know about you. I doubt you read my every post, and I don't expect you to. If you were finding something here that was worth reading, I'm not going to cut you off, that's ridiculous and childish on my part, and whilst I can be both those things, I'm really not for the mot part. But when I'm skipping 70%+ of your entries, it doesn't seem worthwhile, does it?
Nope, fair enough. I'll confess I'm a bit disappointed, but I suspected it was something along those lines anyway! I'll keep you friended anyway, because I do enjoy your posts, so I hope you don't mind if I pop up here now and then?
