This afternoon was randomly productive. I met up with my children's lit. group, walked back with one of them, re-did my year 3 options and read half of The Subtle Knife. I also wrote some drabbles for [livejournal.com profile] numb3rs100. They're not my best, and I need to work on that but I have an idea for the [livejournal.com profile] numb3rs_het fic that I need to have written before the end of the month, so that's useful.

I can't believe I missed Lay Me down & Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy. Clearly, not on the ball when I guessed. However, second place? Not bad at all.

I love lyric-guessing memes. They usually make me want to go download new songs though.

Oh, I'm so pleased! I didn't know if you were still watching the show or not, and I really hoped you were because that's one of my favourite episodes of the season. Nick piecing it all together was heartbreaking because he felt so openly betrayed, and Sara's disbelief and her response to Catherine...I loved this episode. (I also like Keppler a lot.) I'm so, so pleased you saw it!

*excited*

(I haven't seen PB for two weeks...need to catch up. Poke me if I don't post to that effect, lol!)

I more often try to pick losers to root for than winners; I guess that means I can root for me! *grin*

It is nice to know though, that I shouldn't have known any more of these (except to be able to name the actual songs...) since I haven't heard the others. My knowledge of music is woeful! It had been a really long time since I listened to Springsteen, so thanks for prodding me into doing that again. (It is funny: I could hear those lines playing in my head, but I just couldn't name the songs. When I started playing my Springsteen collection, I just needed to hear the first ten seconds of any track to tell if that was them or not, though.)

No, actually, your knowledge of music is pretty average: my taste isn't exactly mainstream. Or rather, it can be, but the tracks I picked weren't. If I gave this list to people I know in RL, they wouldn't be able to pick out that many. *hugs*

Hee! Indeed.

(Let me know when you've got all the Harmer? I'm not in a rush, so whenever, but would like to know. Don't want to delete them and find you haven't got them!)

(Oh! I've got them. I was going to tell you this in a lengthy, witty and funny email last night, but I fell asleep at 10. Gah, Tuesdays.)
