Ha. Ha ha. HA. Except, not. (It's Monday. Sure, it's a Bank Holiday, but this doesn't actually help me.)

I just realised that I'm signed up to three ficathons. One of which is due May 1st. For a fandom that I am currently having a serious falling out with. *headdesk*

As for the rest of Numb3rs, I sort of liked that Don gets over himself pretty quickly. It's that sort of humility that I miss from him. Wouldn't it be nice for him to just be right, though? The guy is not an idiot.

I miss Megan and Larry more than I thought I would, mostly because David and Colby are being pushed aside for Liz and 'guest star of the week'. Admittedly, this week's guest star was ER's Sandy Lopez, but here's my second niggling issue with the plot. The culprit? Someone we'd never met properly, for fuck's sake. The only thing I hate more than that is when they get guest-star-of-the-week to be the baddie. I get it, okay, it's a show about maths. It's also a crime show and needs to work harder at that already.

I really, really want to buy Liz/Don, but the chemistry is off. I can't help it. Then again, I don't even buy Amita/Charlie anymore so who knows?

Ha! This show continues to be made of awesome. I love the scene where Raines goes to see the stoner crew and the first one jumps out of the window! So much love. Also, when he does that peculiar thing with his ears. Also, also, the scene with Sadie the dog. !

Goldblum's delivery never fails; that slightly self-deprecating tone and the speed of his wit. (The last scene where he wants to buy his favourite comic for Jack? PRICELESS! "Ooh!") The scene with him and the granny on a high was fabulous, as was the shoes thing. And the artist who turned out to be the not!bomber on Numb3rs this week! "The tall guy whose shoulders you like!" My favourite scene, though, has to be near the end when Charlie's kid (Jack? Jack) picks up on Raines staring off into the distance and takes his hand to pull him away.

So much fun! I don't understand how [livejournal.com profile] agentcat47 and I are the only ones watching this show. It's sweet! It's funny! It's crime o' the week! So far it hasn't been stupid, or patronising, and only slightly emotionally manipulative (but hey, if you can watch Bones...)

I should start working on those ficathon entries. Sigh.

Hehe, I remember when I signed up for one ficathon, and I thought it was the most stressful thing ever. :P

I agree with you about Numb3rs. I've been waiting a while for an episode where something Don suggests is right. What happened to everyone listening to Don? What happened to Don being the head of the team, not Charlie? There are so many things that need to be judged and looked over, not with a mathmatical mind, but with an FBI mind. Ugh! I don't mind Liz/Don, I think they are cute together. She's younger and seems to loosen him up, which I like. I still like and miss Robin, but I think I'll need to watch this relationship a bit more before I decide more about what I think of it.

I'm so mad, I was so tired that I ended up missing most of the episde. I did watch the last twenty minutes though, which I'm happy about. I saw at the end it said that you can view the episodes online, so I'm going to watch them there. I loved that moment in the guy's house and he said to Raines that his mother has a thing for him. I don't know, I'll have to watch the episode again, but I really liked the twenty minutes I saw. :D

Hehe! Come on, people, watch!!! I adore Jeff's deep voice...I don't even need to watch it the whole time, just turn it on to listen to his voice. :P

You haven't made any Raines icons yet, have you? You should make some.
