Trying to be more productive today than I was yesterday because I have a lot to do. The research skills group meeting is at midday and my lecture is at one so I have two hours in which to read and make that damn essay plan. One hour for reading, one hour for notes, half hour travelling time. I'm trying to stay calm about the group project but I know that I might start accumulating rage. I just need to keep my mouth shut now and get through to the end of the week. I quite like the other group members - two of them are in my Children's lit. lecture, the other one used to be in narr&cult. with me last year. I just don't think anyone has a handle on what's going on.

Starting a new book today, Gillian Cross' Wolf. I'm certain I read a book by her when I was younger that was about alien invasion. It was awful. So we'll see how this one goes.

Had a dream last night; I think it was good. I never remember dreams, only nightmares. Last week I had a nightmare that involved drag queens carjacking us. Yeah, I don't know. Last night's dream was apparently good. *shrug* Woke up around six, freezing cold. No clue why - the heating was on. Anyway, it's been a weird week for sleep.

edit: In the past few days, I've been friended by a couple of people, which is always cool. But you should come and say hi otherwise I won't friend back. I mean, what's the point if we're not going to talk, right?

It's pretty scary stuff, to be honest. It's one of the only things from when I was young that gave me serious nightmares.

I'd still watch, though.

Goosebumps was worse. I used to (& still do, actually) have really bad nightmares and Goosebumps gave me some of the worst. I think the books scared me more, though - because I had a stupidly vivid imagination and made it all worse than it was described as being. I really, really didn't like that series!

People were mad for those books but I... um. Heh. I thought the covers wer ugly? And thus never read them. lmao.

I refused to look at the covers on the grounds that they creeped me out. God knows why I still read the book after that!
