Am basically going to have to blag my way through the research skills meeting today because the research I was supposed to do is basically non-existent and after getting lost in the stacks yesterday - it was terrifying because I was using a moving point of reference, something I hadn't accounted for until it left - I don't fancy doing that again. Also, I have children's literature lecture today (and another 400 words to write; I got to c.550 yesterday, including the introduction. I need to rewrite it, though, because it's poorly phrased. I always write things in a stupid, confused way, even when I'm approaching something systematically. Honestly, I have three plans and tick boxes all over my margins and still this thing doesn't make any sense. Need to work on syntax, obviously.)
I can't wait until the weekend, though, because I am taking Saturday and Sunday OFF. I am going to catch up on fandom, I am going to chill the fuck out and I am not going to be stressed. I am going to enjoy Lenny Henry and Omid Djalili (!!!) This weekend is my vacation. Just have to get there, first. Which means I MUST finish this damn essay before Friday. And other stuff. Oh yeah, reading for On Reading. Leave that for tomorrow morning.
Speaking of reading: I mis-counted the page count for Native Son so now I'm doing about 30 pages a day. I'm a dunce.

Since my new sleep/wake routine, I've had approximately 3 more hours of working time in a day. I cannot figure out how I got ANY work done last term. Even with the extra time there is so much to do.

I really, really want to watch the rest of NCIS but I'll save it for when I'm writing up my lecture notes this afternoon. I also want to go crazy over Don Eppes and the last Numb3rs episode (and COLBY FOR THE WIN) but I just don't have the time, dammit. How sad.
This is why I have yet to see last week's Criminal Minds. Or the past two weeks' Stargate. Or Battlestar. Or Studio 60, although to be honest, I don't know why I bother with that show anymore. But anyways, DON'T SPOILAZ ME PLEZ.
