The plan this morning was to eat breakfast and skedaddle off to the library but The Mother has called so that plan has been delayed a little. Except the call just dropped and now she's logged off. Getting really pissed off with our server. Every time I try to place a call, things go wrong. It's distressing.

So, anyway, the only thing I got done yesterday was reading and a slither of research which is why I'm hauling my hind off to Avenue, and then (ha ha, The Mother just called back) to Hartley. Need to get some serious work done today.

The sky is blue this morning and it's very sunny. There's likely a nip in the air because I can't see any clouds. I'll give Soton this much: when we have clear skies, we have really clear skies.

Last night I watched CSI and CSI: NY, both of which were good (especially the beginning of CSI: NY which filled me with such hope). I also watched half of NCIS but then it was midnight, so. That's my treat for when I get back today.

The Dad just called and I'm seriously late getting out now, but I have to go. Must be motivated! Anyway, I'm supposed to get a reference from my parents for the new landlady (and a character reference) but my parents are hopeless in that respect so I'm writing the letter, emailing it to The Dad who will then print it, sign it, add my deposit cheque and send it tomorrow morning. *headdesk* Housing issues = stress, as per always.

OK, I really am leaving for the library now. Must! Be! Motivated! (....argh!)
