Two seminars today - Wind in the Willows for Children's lit. and then our 'presentation' (which is apparently code for us taking the class?) for On Reading (The Aspern Papers). I need to clean up those notes this morning. Really - am very 'blah' about the whole ordeal, especially as I'm not getting graded on it, but whatever.

When I get back I will be reading. And reading. And then fandom, hopefully. I don't think there's anything that I need to do for research skills tomorrow. I should also probably email everyone in existence. And I have a beta to do (hi, binglexjells!) So.

I watched Prison Break earlier this week. It was mosly very blah. Between the Tweener and T-Bag I was all, you're idiots prison brothers, you're idiots. And did they really think they'd come out and find whatever it was that they were looking for? This ain't Shawshank Redemption, yo.

Mahone is fuck scary, though, right? That's not just me who thinks that? I love it when he finally puts all the details together. &hearts.

Such a pointless discussion - and so sexist, assuming that every female in the show must be a sex symbol otherwise why bother? Ros is the only reason I'm still watching the show (and she keeps creeping into the Max fic I'm writing, most recently at the supermarket where she fills his trolley with fruit - don't ask). I'll bet a LOT of people read that string and rolled their eyes.

The only reason I clicked on the comments thread was to try and determine how much of a spoiler issue we've got going on, but I figure not so much and left it. With the excepton of Han and littledrop, am sort of fed up with that fandom right now.

I'm really looking forward to Han's zombie fic. I specially requested Ros with a shotgun taking out people she didn't like, on the grounds that they "looked like a zombie" to her. I love Ros.

Heh, perfect. I have the first four series on dvd now, and am waiting impatiently for season 5 so that I can rip Carter to shreds and explain why Ros was the perfect addition to the show.

I don't particularly like Ros but that's just because she's a bit cold for me. And I'm still bitter over the Ruth thing, and I make no pretence over it. But she's a tough cookie and there's nothing wrong with that. But assuming she's a sex symbol and nothing else because she's a woman? Doh!

Somehow I have missed a load of S_D entries, so tbh my first thought on reading this was 'is there still a Spooks fandom?'. But have read the post now, and oh dear (although I can't really talk because it took me a good four/five episodes to warm up to Ros, although I don't get the sex symbol bit because surely the only person who got any all series was Adam, and now I am rambling).
