It's London Fashion Week, huzzah!

Also: someone has written Mac/Reed fic. OK. You know I hae no issue with age variant relationships so long as it's not incest (but that is a whole other debate that I do not want to go into) but HEY. REED is practically MAC'S SON. SOME SERIOUS HEAD ISSUES THERE, OKAY? Fuck.

(I have yet to work out why this irks me so much considering what I was contemplating this morning, but it does and I am thoroughly irked, okay fandom? Stop killing me.)

I went through a similar feeling with a different fandom just recently (West Wing - Jed/CJ/Josh fic) and I understand the feelings of blah becausee it's definitely icky when you see parent/child and someone else sees romantic.

Well, in this case my issue is that the guy really could have been his father. (Reed is Mac's dead wife's son who she gave up for adoption. ALMOST FATHER/SON!) So. !!!

As for CJorJosh/Jed fic... I don't read it. Or, rather, I don't read the fandom so much. All the stuff I read was set s1-4 and was basically CJ or CJ/Toby (or Toby/Andi) fic. I read a lot of slash in that fandom because the people who wrote good CJ/Toby wrote great (f/)slash too. Hmm.

I don't read it either - it's just I have this annoying habit of clicking on links I really shouldn't because my brain is why to curious and therefore I end up severely traumatised like I did with this fic.

There are actually very few West Wing fics I'll read (and yes 90% of them feature CJ) but yeah, CJ/Toby is definitely a pairing I'll read (and f/f fic although I haven't found very much).

I feel like you've possibly missed the upper crust of this fandom. Seriously. Some of these fics make me weep to this day. These people have written some of my favourite fics ever and even if things deteriorate with age, they've also basically written my personal CJ/Toby canon. &hearts.
