[livejournal.com profile] kabutar, you'll love this. I was woken at 4am this morning when The Rat Pack fell on me. Which is to say, my poster of The Rat Pack decided that it no longer wanted to be attached to the wall and thus descended uon me. Thankfully I woke when I heard the first corner slip and was able to yank it off the wall before the last one did, but still. I think this is some sort of poster conspiracy, especially since I told yours off yesterday.

Apparently, I have a sleeping schedule now? Bed at midnight, up at 8.30am. Which is good because this semester, none of my classes start before 11am. Today's lecture is for Children's lit. and is on Alice in Wonderland. I love intro lectures because they set the pace for the rest of the term. Tomorrow's lecture doesn't seem to have specified reading yet but that makes me a bit nervous. I'll check the unit pigeon holes and make sure I haven't missed anything.

This morning, whilst watching Studio 60 and Criminal Minds, I'm going to write up a reading schedule. Some of the Children's lit. stuff looks like it might take a bit, and I know that the stuff for 20th Century American Reader will. I think there's a lot of extra reading for that subject so I think that Wednesdays will be spent on campus - first to go to the double lecture and second to go into the library and find the extra reading.

Chicago was amazing. It was fabulous. The Mayflower stage is smaller than, say, London's Apollo, so they had less room to work with and they didn't tango to the Cell Block Tango or tap-dance in any of Billy Flynn's numbers (which is supposed to be his trademark) but I still loved it anyway. It was funny, the costumery was interesting, the use of the band - which was on stage - was so perfect. I loved it. It was a great night.

I just realised that I only have cereal in the house. I stopped off at Waitrose yesterday to buy white finger rolls for my veggie fingers (dinner was delicious, therefore) but I didn't think about milk or anything else. I have three cartons of cranberry&raspberry juice and a couple of boxes of nestlé-brand cereal which is weird because I eat Kelloggs. Hmm. Oh well. Will just have to have some of The Flatmate's milk. And then shop for food later.

If you want, you can think of it as a Clire Forlani icon?

They are devious; we must beware.

It did, and is now back up on the wall. With extra blu-tack!
