Oh wow. Someone has taken Hitchcock's Rear Window and re-made it. Witness: Disturbia. In the former, the protagonist can't go anywhere because he's broken his leg so he just watches people in the flats across the square. In the remake, Shia La Boeuf, of all people, is on parole and his actions are restricted by those tracker things that thy put around cons' ankles. So he takes to watching his neighbours and witnesses a murder. I don't know. Not my flick.

(Can you tell that I'm enjoying having Apple Movie Trailers on my RSS feeds?)

Speaking of films, I have come to the conclusion that (in Vienna Teng's words regarding Harbor) Little Miss Sunshine is subversively happy. By the end of the film, relatively little is actually resolved. This doesn't mean I don't love it still. I've seen it 3 times now.

One of the many things I did yesterday was bake. I have a yen to do it again today.

Things to do today: FANDOM. Haha, it's probably time for me to write another handful of [livejournal.com profile] numb3rs100 drabbles because I'm so dumb at playing week-by-week. Also, I keep realising that there are things that I've forgotten to watch and having to go back and collect them. Today is a marathon day. This makes me very pleased. (I'm like two weeks behind on things like Stargate and Atlantis and Battlestar. Aie.)

Some time today I will also drag my sorry carcass to a building where they (hopefully) sell brown wrapping paper. [livejournal.com profile] powerof3 and [livejournal.com profile] melliyna, please email me your addresses so that I can be certain that I have the right ones. (It would also be useful if you included your real first name - surnames not needed, ta! - because it's amazing what information my brain refuses to hold. Srsly.)

To conclude: it's lovely out today. A bit misty, bright yellow sun and a sharp breeze. My kind of day.

Disturbia sounds... like heating up left-overs. Meh.

I've been meaning to see Sunshine, and from your reaction, I take it that I should. Happy, happy, joy, joy.

...I have no idea what this comment is about. I'm just faffing before I have to go to my lecture. Anyway, BAKING!

Great to hear that you're having a lovely day. :) Here, it's white all over, which is a different kind of lovely. (Seriously, I can't tell where the sky starts and land ends. It's... whoa.)

Yeah, exactly. Originally the set up sounded interesting and then it turned out to be bollocks, so whatver.

You should! It's got this ironic humour to it that I really loved about it. That and it's got your usual indie-movie direction so it's pretty, too.

Hee. BAKING! I'm debating whether to make more cupcakes, an actual cake or something else entirely. I really want to make some bread but there's a surplus of it in the house, unfortunately. (It's weird. I hate cooking but sometimes a girl just has to, well, BAKE FOR ENGLAND).

Yeah, I think this is my first real school 'vacation' since I started uni - every other one has been filled with work or job-hunting. And the weather is lovely. (Snow like that makes me go blind, I get headaches from it. So kudos for loving it so! I don't think we'll get snow until, you know, MARCH. Wtf, Global warming?)
