So, last night wishes_of_stone took me out to this bar called Warehouse which was awesome. We were there with one of her mates, this hilarious guy called Gav. Had a great time. Afterwards I happened to have a yen for chips so we got some fries and then headed back to hers to watch a couple of early episodes of Friends.

This morning we slept forever, heh, and then headed out to town where we browsed delightfully. wishes_of_stone bought this gorgeous pair of earrings that I will post a photo of later. We had lunch at Caffé Nero then we came back to halls and basically spent the afternoon gassing about music. FOR THE WIN. !!! I have loads of new stuff now because she is amazing. Eventually I will share but for now, I am going to be decidedly selfish and kepp it all to myself. MWHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Tonight we're prettying up and going to an italian restaurant of some description - that isd, if we can find one. Should be able to but you'll hear if we don't. Have to get up early tomorrow and catch the 9 or 10am train to Newc. where I will be meeting the fantabulous xanitia. I am so completely zen right now - the weekend has been amazing so far and will likely continue to be, unless I catch the plague or something. wishes_of_stone tells me that this does not happen in Hudds. so likely I will be safe. Huzrah!

Lastly, I will soon be updating duck_cheer because the first of the ducks has taken flight! Echo has landed safely in wishes_of_stone's care, and she will also be coming to dine with us. Keep your eyes peeled for pictures and her diary account (!) OK, have to find a restaurant now. You'll probably next hear from me when I've made it to Newc. Taraa!
