You should see my wall right now: I have essay notes taped up all over dodge. The question, however, is how do I always manage to do the wrong reading? Or how did I manage to pick the one topic one which there seems to be no reading? That's not a bad thing because I'm pretty reference-lite when it comes to my essays but external-reading and evidence thereof is a pre-req for the higher grades and... well, I can't find any relevent extra-reading. PAIN.

I was in a funk for most of the day, mostly anxiety-fuelled. I've cut up my day into hours and allocated tasks per each one. I felt better as soon as I was done. It's just that sometimes I come to a realisation over how much I have to do and I flip out. Case in point? This week's Af. lit. text. I've not read much of it. I haven't done this week's mod. reading because my text doesn't have the reading in it, bloody hell. Anyway, I've decided that as neither of these texts are ones I'm actually writing on, it doesn't matter. That doesn't make me feel any better but it's an excuse at the least.

I finally stopped playing Cabinet (769, yo) today because when I'm essaying, I need a range of music (the same tones depress me, which is such a weird reaction but then again, Bruce Springsteen can reduce me to tears, so whatever). I've been zipping through my plpaylist - Regina Spektor, Goo Goo Dolls, Ben Gibbard, the Carnivale soundtrack, all awesome. Also, I'm nearly there with the Numb3rs drabbles! OK, not quite, but I'm getting there. I'm getting fairly obsessive about having them be exactly 100 words, but other than that, it's a nice distraction from all the ARGH STRESS OHNOES that is going on in my head.
