...an actual post with a lame and overused subject title.

Man, I'm trying to think what I've been doing all week that has meant that I haven't updated properly since I watched Numb3rs. Well, heh: fandom. Weeds gets better every week; Studio 60 is a show that runs and then I'm surprised when it finishes; Spooks 5x05 deserves a post of its own. I'd already seen this week's The Unit and realised I'd managed to skip 2x02 which was the Summer Glau episode (come on, people, give her shit to do already...); Veronica Mars was its usual peppy self and the ending made me cold, yo. NCIS was good although I'm still watching half of it through my fingers. Criminal Minds I saw last week - that one make me feel violently ill. I still have Bones and CSI: NY to get through. Also: I finally watched CSI 7x02. A mix of WTF? with, oh, that wasn't so bad. The show confuses me these days. Today is Supernatural, Grey's and more CSI. Hurrah! That should be ready as soon as I get back from doing laundry this morning. K and I are heading onto the main street to the laundrette. It's tipping it down outside. Typical!

Wednesday was the university bunfight which is basically the day you sign up for clubs and societies. You go into the massive sports hall and wind your way through all the tables, signing your name down to email lists and then you get an update every week (and never go to a signle meeting, as was the case last year. However, I'm determined to go to mine this year). I came back from that and basically read all day until the evening when the girls had a shared "meal" to talk about things like bills and what have you. I'm still waiting for things to go wrong between N and The Worrier. It's getting there. I'm just wondering how long the two of them can hold out.

Yesterday was the poster sale and I have photos to show you all! Those will be posted some time later. I have one of The Rat Pack, one of elephants, two prints of penguins (!!!) and a couple of random ones. You'll know what I mean when I post the photographs. Then, again, I came back and read, and had quite an enlightening comment spam avec [livejournal.com profile] wliberation. In the evening, four of us (me, The Flatmate, N & T) went to the local pub and played pool for an hour and a half. Much fun was had. Also, we have once again proven that I have no hand-eye co-ordination, and am pretty shit at pool. Huzzah! Good times, though, good times.

Yeah, today is laundry which should be an experience and a half, to say the least. I have no idea where it is, for starters, and the costage is pretty high. Could do without that. The plan, though, is to look for a washing machine this weekend. Later today I think we're making a poster for our mini hallway between my room and A's (TW).

OK, off now. Photos later. I'll promise to be a better commenter, toom because I have been woefully lax on that end recently.

Should I be worried that you're heaping Bones and CSI:NY together? Because I just started watching Bones last week, and I am heavily crushing on it, and I'd hate to hear it goes to shit รก la CSI:NY in s2.

Is this week's Criminal Minds the episode that leaked before 2x02 aired?

Also: Hi. Sounds like you're doing well, which is good to hear. :)

Hey, hey! Yeah, I'm feeling okay right now, which is good. Things will really start to get going next week when lectures and classes start.

Um, no? Because (a) I still love CSI NY and (b) I hated Bones to begin with and now watch for the crazy cast. (I don't think it's that good a show... but it's definitely watchable).

I'm not sure. Sorry! It's to do with a serial rapist, if that helps any.

Ah. This is one of those times where we wildly disagree, then, because I want to hit CSI:NY with something heavy, and while I'm not under the illusion that Bones is by any definition good tv, I am crazy in love with that show. (But, judging by my track record lately, this'll have passed in a week or two.)

I don't remember what that ep of CM was about, either, but I'm not in the mood for it now anyway. I've been having so much trouble keeping up with my shows, lately-- not that I don't have time to watch them, just that I forget to download them until several days after they air. Oh, brain, where are you?
