OK, let me be upfront about this. Up until Edgerton tells Megan not to let them get into her head? I didn't care all that much. There was much glee at seeing all of the principle cast members, and more at the chess game. ("I'm going to give you the same piece of advice I give all the geniuses I know." "Oh?" "Don't be an idiot." HA!) But other than that? I just... maybe I'm out of practice?

The rest of the episode was so hot though. All of Megan's profiling skill, Edgerton (!), the entire concept of the Bonnie&Clyde killers! And then there was our Bonnie and Clyde. David and Colby are so much love. Who's writing the fic where they totally have sex in that phone-tap van? "They've totally forgotten us, haven't they?" Whatevercakes. Basically, as soon as it became a Megan episode (which is entirely what I consider it) I was there. All the nuances of the character were played out so well.

Does anyone else think that maybe the execs. got a lot of bad press on every relationship that wasn't Megan/Larry at the end of S2? Because, woah, turnabout? But I don't want to talk about anything that concerns Charlie. So no comments on him. Because to be completely serious, I wanted to smack him so hard. There was a lot of hate in that direction. I can't even work out what irritates me about him. I just wasn't impressed at all.

All in all, mixed reaction. I'm definitely going to have to watch it again. I know I wasn't paying much attention to the direction. (Oh! Did I mention that I loved the opening sequence? Because I so did).

eta: "You continually put me in mind of the M57 nebula!" SO! CUTE! Also? Megan's associations with Bonnie (shit, I can't even remember the character's name. Forgive me, I've just spent the night watching stargate) give me so much to think about when it comes to her character. I think Megan is my new girl-crush, or rather, my girl crush revisited. AND THE ENDING OMG. !!!! All I want to do now is talk about the many kinds of awesome that Megan is. It's warping my brain. "What do you want to do? Do you want to live or die?" OH MY GOD.
