Once I found that damn Atlantis fic, I fell asleep without reading it. The Sister couldn't sleep before that so she was helping me search. I thought I'd emptied my history list the night before but apparently not and thank fuck because I'd still be going crazy over that fic now if that had been the case. In related news: the Sheppard/Weir fans are going barmy over that damn Con. clip. Whilst I was at first vey wheeee! about it, I'm now pretty sick of it. Sigh. (But still: hee!) Also! I totally forgot that Lorne was in Stargate! *fangirls* This character? Seriously underappreciated in the fandom. (edit: Am trying to see this comm...and again, fucked up. Does anyone know why I can't see some of the comms?!) Anyway, to conclude this portion of fannish-love, I'm thinking of making a Weir moodtheme to replace the Amita one that I'm currentky using. Maybe.

Have started writing another of the prompted fics and was also doing pretty well with my NCIS one until the plot bunnies decided to take a vow of celibacy wtf.

Anyway, I'm going to scoot and get dressed before the Maternal Rental starts to throw one.

Heh. Well, that could be cool, too. (It so is a kink. I just love it. Remember that one fic that nekosmuse wrote in WaT fandom? I know you've read it because I remember you asking around for it. The one where the government is overthrown and Danny is living under a fake identity and trying to dodge the "sweepers"? Man, that was the perfect example of what apocalypse fic could do - tear the characters down to expose the core.)

So I read this fic some time ago so my memory of how good it actually was might be wrong, but, I don't know. There's something charming about it. And I found it interesting because it made me, for the first time ever perhaps, consider the difference between femslash and maleslash or, in fact, the feminine and masculine in general. This could be a meta post, so I'll stop now before it gets out of hand.
