No! Nathan is to be despised. I believe RTD meant us to despise him. He's so despicable. And Stuart is a bad bad boy - and heartless and selfish etc etc - but I think RTD loved him too much to make him the villain.

it's not wrong in the sense that it's fairly normal. the little twat did grow on me upon 3rd viewing, but he's only sufferable near the end of the series, IMHO...
