Whilst Avalon is certainly suspenseful, I am finding that ultimately, I just don't care. So...I'm trying, but the fangirl is weeping. Sigh.

eta: I guess the main reason is that this is a completely new show that is trying to blag its way past an old audience, as well as a brand new one. Which...yawn. I don't really get why I'm supposed to be invested in the new characters. Whilst Vala is amusing for the most part, she's also piss annoying; I love both Black and Browder but, again, why am I supposed to care? Yes, yes, it's like their second episode. But you want to sell me a character? Tell me why the hell I'm bothering at all, and tell me damn quickly. You shouldn't be waiting three episodes in to tell me that Mitchell should be liked for this because by that time, most people will have switched over. Give Mitchell a story that isn't dependent on SG-1. Give Mitchell a story that makes him worth this fangirl's while.

Also? I'm at the store again tomorrow morning. So...postponing the job hunt. Again.

I've watched the first few episodes of Season 9 twice now and I still don't get it ~ the excitement/enjoyment I used to get from watching SG is gone, apparently, which makes me sad. I can't even put my finger on why, I think it's that the whole mix just doesn't work for me anymore.

I haven't been into SG for a LONG time now.. the only reason I picked it back up was because of Claudia.. I watched the Vala eps in S9, and thats all. Sam bugs me, Daniel just annoys me... theres no Jack, and as much as I love Browder, Mitchell is kinda like Crichton.. *shrugs*

And the only reason I'm going to watch season 10 is because of Vala, because oh how I love her :P

I'm hoping she grows on me. Like I said, sometimes she's uproariously amusing ("Let's make BABIES!" lol) but sometimes I'm very much "OK, please stfu now."

Dude! I sent you, like, the whole season! Lol. Although, I just watched the whole of s8 of Stargate so that's probably just as bad. lolz. We're crazed fangirls.
