This week has apparently been a week for making friends so huzzah! I finally got around to posting the requested wallpapers at tja_rama, and now I'm working on some icons for The Lake House because yes, I am now obsessed somewhat.

Let me preface the QaF (UK) fangirling by saying, damn. Aidan Gillen is hot. I've only watched the first episode but it's fast, it's snappy, it's definitely attractive. The dialogue is wonderful, the content even more so. I really love that this, too, is one of RTD's shows - and you can tell. There's silent quality to the show, in the writing and in the production. Really quite amazing.

Watched L&O: CI today and again, making icons. Right now I'm fangirling over pictures that were splashed across my flist today, but in a while I'm going to finally get around to making a certain 'fan'mix I've been thinking about doing. Then I'll probably watch more X-Files, heh. I have done nothing productive today, other than go to the market and get the batteries replaced in one of my watches. I also had the pins replaced in another one so now I have two functioning watches, huzzah! Just need to find the other eight and take them in.

Wedding approaches on Saturday and one of the cousins has dropped out due to family concerns on her mum's side, whilst another may be going to a different wedding. (There are three this weekend, wtf). I'm hoping my oldest cousin will still be at the one I'm going to; really don't fancy going on my own. Will be wearing one of mum's saris... hmm.

Oh, I found this song, at long last. Less sinister when I'm fully awake and able to hear the whole song but the first time I heard it... well, you all saw the minor freak-out. I've also got a version by Johnny Cash which is completely harmless. Now that I've seen a clip of him on Sesame Street singing about Big Bird and his "ones" (wtf), nothing Johnny Cash has ever sung sounds hard anymore. Heh.

Second... It's like being tortured. Everyone promises links to gorgeous wallpapers, and yet I can't seem to see them anywhere! *sighs dramatically* ok. well not everyone. just tigertrapped and yourself. but still. *Wants to see pretty wallpapers* :)

Aw, sweetheart; the only unlocked posts in my graphics/fic comm are the icons, and I lock those after a week to prevent theft. But if you just hit join, I'll approve you straightaway :) All of my fic is archived there, too.

Oh Lord, I love Aidan Gillen. Well, I love him in QaF. Sadly he never bettered that performance although I followed his career for some years afterwards. Wait until you see the episode with him and Nathan's dad!

Also, just watched Our Mrs Reynolds and LOVED it. Someone should write Jayne/Vera fanfic. Seriously.
