No matter what people have been saying, the season is soooo worth watching. First of all, Will (Sam's "replacement") is great, and the season finale? The way it was directed, the visuality... Had me swooning and falling in love all over again. Sadly, that episode was Aaron's goodbye, but it was still one the best TV experiences I've had. You'll have fun with the season, I promise. (And, god, how I wish I could get all the previous seasons on DVD. Damn me and my paranoia when it comes to online purchasing.)
Heh; I'm exactly the same otherwise I'd have them all by now! But I've been watching my old S3 eps which I found on tape and just dying with happiness, lol
