{ Numb3rs 224: Hot Shot }
May. 20th, 2006 12:04 pmGood crime, good resolution, awesome ending. I'm glad the season closed quietly. Except from the lack of viable math, the episode felt fairly old school. I am a little bit too in love with Don Eppes. I'm just saying. (His smile at the end? Oh god).
And that's Margaret Eppes, eh? It makes sense to me that she came to Alan and Charlie, but not Don. Love in the absence of all things, I guess, and in her absence most of all.
We're back to Colby the misogynist and Megan the defender of the sex, apparently, although that whole thing was funny as opposed to irritating, which is an evolution. And Larry! And his Aunt Louise!
eta: All that foreshadowing in their dreams was creepy. Especially with the pancakes and the Don connection. GOD I AM IN LOVE WITH THE ENDING!
I don't know. It just felt good. I remember at the beginning of S2 and just being really happy that the series was back and now I want it to be season 3, already, whatever happened in the middle of this one. I want some of the solid math back, and more of the happy, less of the shouty; but I'm not disappointed by the show. It's my happy show, so, whatever. Joy.
Catching a bus to go to town in ten minutes, and then to the revision thing (gr argh). When I come back: CSI, Doctor Who and the chesstastic Eurovision, huzzah!
