The only only explanation I can think of is because of the events of the previous episode. But then again I don't know if I can wank these moments anymore, especially moments that are as OOC as that.

The writing was for hell this week. Which is saying something because I am mostly able to brush over just about anything they pull. But that? That's one of those areas of characterisation I hate being messed with. Don is always (or always tries) to be impartial and fair and keep his head in the game.

That one moment ruined the rest of the episode. Sigh.
