Darling Tiger,

I met you almost a year and a half ago in the Spooks and since then we've ambled (sometimes kicked and screamed) through Eljay. Daily emails, constant support, and a place of safety: these are the things you represent. Even though there is both time and space between us, it need not make a difference. I hope today and every day hereafter is wonderful for you. I feel special and happier just knowing that you exist. ~ Delga xxx

Darling! Thank you so much for this. Ever since you started posting these banners for birthdays of people on your flist, I've been gently envious and hopeful of you making one for me. And you did, and it's beautiful but best of all it's personal and so very, deeply touching. My immediate reaction was a big goofy grin (the moment I clicked the Refresh button on my flist and got a 'downloading picture' message with "tiger" in the name, I was excited). Then, when I read what you wrote, I got a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes. Bless you, a thousand times over. You know that everything you say about me, about us, I echo in return. Without you, I wouldn't be here on LJ and I wouldn't be doing half the stuff I do. You're a true friend, and I love you.

ps, can I reproduce the banner on my LJ? Is that OK? I thought I'd check, as it's quite a personal thing but I love it so much and would like to have it on my LJ.

Firstly: *hugs* You would have seen this around 7am except I was late for lectures.

Secondly: of course you can. It's for you. I had a hell of a time trying to figure out what images to use but I think those three fit, hehe.
