I think they just send those to every living person on the planet. I used to get 'em regularly when I was at university and I had a frickin' license! You'd think paying 100-odd quid would at least entitle you to not be bothered by that rubbish through your door!
They do it to scare the people that don't have licenses but it's a fucking insult. The implication is that I am the type of person to lie over something like that. Well, fuck them.
I do have a tv and a tv license but I STILL got that letter! I emailed thelling them they took money off me but never sent me the actual license so would they please sort it out and they said oops sorry but they still haven't sent me the actual license.
