YEEEESSSSS! Good TV, seriously. I had so much fun with these episodes. Aside from the fact that, yes, okay, she's not going to get blown up because, come on, it's her name in the title, the rest of the suspense was really neatly dealt with. I love all the parallels between the two episodes: drums signalling fear and death, the two shower scenes, Meredith and Derek looking at each other across an empty OR... all brilliant. I actually like Meredith; she's not my favourite by far but I don't mind her. I don't find her particuarly shallow, or moreso than anyone else. Mer/Der is my actually canon OTP! In fact, I love all the ships on this show: Yang/Burke, Izzie/Alex, George/Izzie and any femslash pairing. No, really! I love them all. All the cinematography is fabulous, all the people are seriously pretty and the scripting and soundtrack are really good too. It's good TV, it's guilty-pleasure TV.

Man, I love George. I love you, George. I DO! His scene with Bailey was the best ever. So, so good. AND MIRANDA BAILEY! In week one she was awesome for "Can you get me a new vagina?" (OH BOY) and being very scared and in week two she was awesome for her absolute womanly fear and insecurity and the BEST LINE IN GREY'S ANATOMY HISTORY EVER: "O'Malley? Quit looking at my va-jay-JAY!" HAHAHAHAHAHA. WE LOVE YOU, BAILEY! And when your husband was dead for a minute, I nearly had an aneurysm myself because OHNOES! That sequence was fucking awesome - the bomb, the baby and the dead-to-dying man. MAN!

This week's guest stars were just fanstastic. But ohmygod Christina Ricci, how do you still look 16 years old? How do you do it? And Kyle Chandler, whee! Who got blown up which was actually a seriously surprising moment for me; I loved his little rig to Mere: "I know I'm this ass who's been yelling at you all day..." Yes, yes you were. And the screaming woman? I forget the actress' name but I do remember that she played Donna in Judging Amy (my other shallow love of many years ago). All three played the roles so well and just fit into canon brilliantly: Christina Ricci's moment of absolute meltdown was phenomenal. You really felt the panic in the air.

What have I forgotten? Oh, Izzie being a doer in so many ways: "You want to quite literally take off! your pants!" Alpha Izzie is still so cute, and so was her inappropriate reaction. Totally cute. And then Cristina. Cristina who kicked Mere out of bed! Cristina who didn't want to leave Mere with the bomb! Cristina who told Derek about Mere and the bomb! Cristina who told Burke that SHE LOVES HIM TOO, OMG YAY! *fangasm* I love that Burke and Cristina are so much more low key. They are awesome. And I love Sandra Oh so goddamn much. I do, I do.

Burke and Derek? Fuck, yeah. That scene coming out of the elevator was fucking awesome direction. And the chief's wife? Mrs. Chief Webber? Who doesn't love Loretta Divine? Tell me so I can spork them. "That was not the she he was talkin' about." There must be fic somewhere with her and Bailey being the most awesome best friends. They are both scary ass women whom I love and adore! And then was the second shower scene which was just... it justified the first one. This is how girls take care of each other. It was beautiful.

Oh, Addy, your husband doesn't love you and I didn't at first but then I saw the error of mine ways! Poor Addy. That being said Mer/Der is so my ohteepea. "It was a Thursday morning. Your hair smelled...of some flower. I was running late for surgery and you placed your hand on my chest and you kissed me - softly, as though we'd have hundreds of them, day after day after day." *cries* SO SO GOOD.

Having read the TV.com mini, spoiler-less synopsis for next week's episode, OMG, Jeff Perry wtfy? I can't tell if that's a good casting choice or not. I mean, I love the guy and all but he's not really... I don't know. But that whole Mer/Der/Addy thing is going to get interesting. And we learn more about Cristina? Maybe? Please?

Oh, also? Imagine this: once upon a time, Cristina and Addy were lesbian lovers. And then Addy dumped Cristina. SOMEONE WRITE ME THAT FIC. Except! You don't need to. Proof:

OH my lord, Izzie rocks. As does Bailey, she's probably my favourite character I think [followed by Cristina and Izzie, joint second]. I still think Bailey/Derek would be great, much to the annoyance of... most other people!

I didn't like Izzie much at first but after episode... four I think? When she stripped off in the locker room and generally told Alex [it was either Alex or George, I've forgotten!] to grow up, she totally endeared herself to me, lol.

I did, I did, thank you! Not downloaded them all yet, although parents have gone out so maybe I can download without screwing up the network for everyone. If I have enough disc space that is, may have to watch some and delete them before downloading the rest.

This is right about the time when Sammie realises she should invest in extra disc space!

Wow, I can't believe I actually remember what she said. But she did this awesome hip swivel as she straightened up that I just cannot forget. AWESOME.

Hee, I know. I'm trying to get enough episodes of things so that I can shunt them onto DVD. Until then, I just have to deal with the computer being damn slow. But for real? You are going to love the episodes. Especially the last two. OMG love!

Totally. LOVED that scene so much. And I've heard so much about the last two episodes, I'm seriously considering skipping the others and watching those two first - will they make sense without the others?
